The working principle of the pulp pump is based on centrifugal force and momentum exchange. When the pump is started, the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, the pulp enters the pump casing through the pump inlet, and is then pushed to the pump outlet by the centrifugal force of the impeller, thereby realizing the transportation of the pulp. The impeller usually adopts a swept back design, and the blades are also curved, which can reduce the accumulation of pulp on the impeller, improve the discharge capacity of the fluid, maintain a good flow state of the pulp, and reduce the wear and blockage of the pump.
Pump shaft: Generally supported by a combination of oil-lubricated, heavy-duty, and wear-resistant bearings, such as cylindrical roller bearings and radial thrust ball bearings, to ensure stable operation of the pump shaft.
Impeller: Mostly semi-open or fully open impellers are used, which have the advantages of being less prone to clogging, and the clearance between the wear-resistant plate and the front face of the impeller is adjustable, which can effectively improve the operating efficiency and service life of the pump.
Shaft seal: Common shaft seal forms include packing seals, mechanical seals, and a combination of the two. Mechanical seals have the advantages of wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and stable sealing effect, and are suitable for high-speed operation and high-pressure working environments; while packing seals have a simple structure and are easy to use, suitable for different media and working conditions.
